With the construction and commissioning of the Roghun hydropower station the people of Tajikistan have long years of hope, aspirations and expectations.

Despite the presence of several hydroelectric power stations, the lack of electricity for many years has seriously complicated the living conditions of the people.

For years, the government of Tajikistan has been convincing the people and the international community that the causes of all the problems of the state are the fault of a neighbouring country, the opposition and a shortage of electricity.

From now on, with the removal of the last obstacle, the lack of electricity, not only homes of the people should be illuminated, but also hundreds of thousands of migrants should be returned to their homeland, decent living conditions and jobs should be created for them.

The construction of this important facility for the country’s economy is the contribution of the entire people of Tajikistan. The National Alliance of Tajikistan, as an integral part of the people of the country, shares joy and hope with all Tajiks and welcomes the launch of the Roghun hydropower plant.

The National Alliance of Tajikistan hopes that the rotation of the first unit will give a new impetus to the life of Tajiks and launch the long-awaited changes. We hope that now not only the unlighted and cold house of the Tajik mother will light up, but after returning to the parental home of the long-awaited children, the very eyes of the living alone hope of the mother will shine.
